Traffic and Criminal

Traffic and Criminal Defense (including DUI) are basically self-explanatory, you were either given a ticket or arrested. This matter is not going away and the Police and Prosecutors don't have anything better to do than to pursue your case. 

Protecting your driving history for insurance and other purposes is a major emphasis in Mr. Casey's practice.  On an almost daily basis, Mr. Casey goes to court for his client's traffic citations such as speeding, running red lights or stop signs, improper lane change, failure to yield and so forth.  He also represents those under 21, under 18, CDLs and more serious traffic matters such as driving on a Suspended License, No Insurance and DUI.

You need to make a decision as to how you wish to defend this matter, plea it (guilty or Nolo), or ask for a trial.  The trial can a jury trial or non-jury trial.  Mr. Casey's fees* must be paid in advance and, generally speaking, are:

$200.  Mr. Casey will plea out any regular, normal, non-accident and traditional Traffic Ticket for $200. Some examples are Speeding (Non-Excessive), Stop Sign/Light violation, and so forth.

This ticket must be in Cobb County State Court and must be resolved by the second time he goes to Court.  

This means he will go to Court the first time and attempt to negotiate a reduction.  You will then send him the fine money and any additional documents before the second Court date.

If Mr. Casey has to go to Court for you more than twice, it is $50 each time he goes to Court, payable in advance.

If you want a Trial, the fees are as follows:

$1,500 Non-Jury

$2,500 Jury

Plus any Costs

$750.  Mr. Casey will plea out any regular, normal and traditional Misdemeanor for $750.

The charge must be in Cobb County State Court.

This means he will go to Court and attempt to negotiate a reduction of the charge or the penalty you are facing. 

If you want a Trial, the fees are as follows:

$2,500 Non-Jury

$3,500 Jury

Mr. Casey's Fees for DUI are:

$ 1,500.00 Plea

$ 2,500.00 Non-Jury Trial

$4,000.00 Jury Trial

Some of the types of Non-Regular, normal and traditional Traffic Tickets are:

Excessive Speed 

Reckless Driving

Passing a School Bus

No Insurance

Suspended Registration

Accident Cases.

Felonies

Generally Speaking, Mr. Casey does not defend Felony cases except for existing clients.
